Today, we are looking at NewLake Capital Partners, ticker symbol NLCP. Kicking things off here with the Quant rating system, Strong Buy rating for this REIT here on Seeking Alpha, and we’ll dive into some of the metrics here in just a moment.

So, let’s dive deeper. This is a $314.91 million market capitalization company found within the real estate sector and the industrial REITs industry. Diving into the Valuation grade here is an A+ grade and two notable metrics stick out. First, the price to AFFO is 7.24 compared to 15.46. And the total debt-to-equity is 1.93%, compared to the sector at 95.61%.

The Growth grade is currently B and two things stick out here as well. For one, the AFFO growth year-over-year is 10.05%, compared to the sector at 3.28%. And the revenue growth five year historical CAGR is 112.17%, compared to the sector at 7.83%.

The Profitability grade is currently an A+. AFFO divided by total revenue is 86.30%, compared to the sector at 40.87%. And the net income to total debt is 343.47%, compared to the sector at just 6.48% there.

Checking in, Momentum is currently a B+ grade. That’s one year price performance of negative 7.24%, compared to the sector, which is only about down negative 3%. However, three month price performance has this REIT up 17.75%, while the sector is only up 2.17%.

Lastly, Revisions here is an A+ grade. That’s two up revisions and zero down revisions for EPS over the last three months and two up revisions and zero down revisions for revenue over the last three months.

Now, with this being a REIT, it does have a nice dividend yield that is 11.42% with a payout ratio of 84.31%. Safety grade here is an A+. The dividend growth grade is a C-. Dividend yield is an A+ and the dividend consistency is a C. We click on that here. That’s four years of growth and consecutive years of dividend payments. And if we look at the yield compared to the sector, dividend yield of 11.42% is definitely outperforming the sector at just 4.82%.
