REXShares and Osprey Funds have filed for spot ETFs for 21 different altcoins. Here’s the list and details.
REXShares/Osprey Funds has filed applications with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for 21 cryptocurrency ETFs, including several major altcoins and staking-enabled products.
The application is currently in “subject to completion” status, so SEC approval is required before the funds can be offered for sale.
James Seyffart summarized the applications in his social media post as follows:
“REXShares/Osprey Funds has filed for 21 crypto ETFs… Yes, Twenty-One.”
The SEC recently implemented general listing rules for cryptocurrency spot ETFs, allowing each ETF to be listed without requiring separate approval from the SEC.
