The East Kimberley has a “new” hotel, with the opening of the refurbished Best Western Cambridge Hotel Kununurra. On the corner of Messmate Way and Victoria Highway, the building has had many manifestations over the decades — as a Mercure and an All Seasons.
The Best Western Cambridge Hotel Kununurra has refurbished hotel rooms, a swimming pool, lots of parking and the new The Cambridge Brasserie 47, restaurant and bar.
The hotel’s redevelopment is planned across three stages. This first phase has 49 fully refurbished guest rooms. Phase two will see the opening of a conference centre, wellness centre and pool bar. And by the end of 2026, the final stage should see 48 extra rooms.
