When visitors on the Oct. 8 Dunwoody Woman’s Club 52nd Annual Tour explore a home on Brandon Hall Drive, they will have more to look at than beautifully placed furniture and color-coordinated accessories.
Linda Pozzobon, owner of OHBoN Studio and the residence artist at the Dunwoody Farmhouse Project, has placed original artwork in the owner’s dining and living areas and transitional spaces.
“Art transforms spaces, and this year’s Dunwoody Home Tour offers a rare opportunity to experience a home where each piece of art has been thoughtfully curated by the homeowner,” Pozzobon said. “The residence itself has been designed by Crystal Hutchens of CH Interiors, creating a setting that highlights the beauty and energy of the works it houses.”
Each of the pieces “reflects a dialogue between artist and collector, connecting personal stories, memory, and emotion,” she said. “The homeowner, an avid collector, collaborated with Denise Jackson, curator and owner of Town + Culture, to ensure a thoughtful integration of art throughout the space.”
Pozzobon said a continuation of the home tour will occur on Oct. 12 from 1-5 p.m. with an art show at the farmhouse, also known as the Cheek-Spruill house, at the corner of Mount Vernon and Chamblee Dunwoody Roads, that will feature some of the companion pieces from the tour.
“The Farmhouse Gallery program offers a chance to engage with the collection more deeply, learn about the inspiration behind the pieces, and acquire select works for your own space,” she said. “Visitors are encouraged to linger, connect, and experience art in ways that extend beyond the home.”
By activating spaces within Dunwoody Village and through her residency at the Farmhouse under Town + Culture’s curatorial program, Pozzobon hopes to shape the area into a destination for arts and culture.
“Through initiatives like the Farmhouse Gallery and curated collections, we continue to build bridges between artists, collectors, and the wider community, proving that art can enrich lives, spark dialogue, and help create a more vibrant, connected cultural landscape in Dunwoody,” she said.
The proceeds of the home tour are used to fulfill the Dunwoody Women’s Club commitment of service through its charitable programs. Tickets to the tour are $35 and can be purchased here.
