Light novels continue to be fertile ground for new anime adaptations and the Spy Classroom work from Takemachi is on track. Announced during a Fantasia Bunko live stream back in March 2022, the series saw a January 5th, 2023, premiere date, with HIDIVE handing streaming for it.

The series has Keiichiro Kawaguchi on board to direct based on the scripts supervised by Shinichi Inotsume. Sumi Kinoshita is on board for the character designs with studio feel handling the production. The main cast is reprising their roles from the voice drama work that was done previously.
The Japanese cast includes:

* Miku Ito as Grete
* Nao Toyama as Sibylla
* Aoi Yuki as Monika

Plot Concept: Following a devastating military conflict, countries fight their wars in the shadows. One unusual spy, Klaus, has never failed on the job despite his quirks, and he is building a team to take on an Impossible Mission — one with over a 90 percent chance of failure. However, his chosen members are all washouts with no practical experience. They’ll have to use every trick in the book (and some that aren’t) to prove they’re up to the task!
