ROSEBURG — Douglas County 4-H members and supporters are invited to Small Animal, Livestock, Dog and Poultry Quiz Bowls on Saturday, Feb. 7.
The Small Animal and Livestock Quiz Bowls will begin at 1 p.m. at the OSU Extension Office, 1134 SE Douglas Ave., Roseburg; The Dog Quiz Bowl will begin at 10 a.m. at the Roseburg Library, 1409 NE Diamond Lake Blvd., Roseburg.
According to a press release, quiz bowls are “fast-paced, team-based competitions where youth test their knowledge, think quickly and have fun showing what they know about their project areas.” Both first-time and seasoned participants are welcome to attend.

Volunteers are needed to assist to “help keep the competition moving and the fun going.” No quiz bowl experience is necessary, just “enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to support our amazing youth” during this fast-paced event.
