
New services are being offered by local libraries that will hopefully be a boon for creatives, tinkerers, and inventors.
Multnomah County Library is now an official Patent and Trademark Resource Center. The service will assist members of the public who want help with the process or paperwork to patent an invention or register a trademark.
The library system joins Oregon State University as one of two designated resource centers. Multnomah County Library can help with:
“Multnomah County Library is excited to help our community by becoming a designated Patent and Trademark Resource Center,” said Deputy Director of Libraries Stephen Houser. “People trust and rely on libraries, and this is one more way we can help community members use the library to learn and create.”
