
MASINLOC, Zambales — The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) on Monday rescued the fisherman who was reported missing at sea during the onslaught of Tropical Depression Isang.

The PCG said it conducted a search and rescue operation for the missing fisherman from Zambales who joined a group to fishers who went to Bajo de Masinloc on Friday.
The fisherman, on aboard the fishing boat FFB Saider, was separated from his 12 companions on Friday amid strong winds and high waves.
Through the steadfast coordination of Coast Guard Station (CGS) Zambales and BRP Cape San Agustin (MRRV-4408), the 12 fishermen were rescued on Friday and returned to Subic, Zambales.

The MRRV-4408 continued its search and rescue operation in the designated area when a report was received via radio communication from the fishing boat FFB Chief Iver that the missing fisherman had been found.
The PCG identified the missing fisherman as Roberto Albior, 53 years old, from Calapandayan, Subic, Zambales.

Albior was given medical assistance and food while he is being transported back to Subic, Zambales, the PCG added.
