Mr Kwetey who described farmers and fisherfolk as heroes for feeding the nation and sustaining countless livelihoods, noted that, he and his new leadership will make sure that all government policies geared towards supporting members of the association will get to them no matter where they find themselves in the country.”My leadership will make sure that whatever policy from the government geared towards supporting farmers and fishermen to increase productivity get to them no matter where they are located in the country. We will make sure premixed fuel and marine gasoline oil from the government to fishermen and women get to them. We will also make sure that fertilizer meant for farmers is delivered to them on time”, he noted.
