
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers men’s soccer (8-5-3, 3-4-2 B1G) drew even with Michigan State (5-7-3, 2-4-3 B1G), 1-1, on Friday night at Yurcak Field.
Just before the end of the first half, RU was called for a hand ball in the box, which triggered a penalty kick opportunity for the Spartans. came up with a huge save, however, to keep the Scarlet Knights ahead at the break.
With just under 10 minutes left to play in the second half, the Spartans would find the equalizer when Richie Ludwig scored off a rebounded save from Dalton.
Rutgers chased offensive chances in the final moments but couldn’t finish, ending the contest with a 1-1 draw.
Rutgers will finish out the 2025 regular season at No. 17 Indiana on Friday, Nov. 7 at 8 p.m.
