Back in 2023, First Lady Melania Trump made headlines for creating patriotic ornaments and selling them through X, the app formerly known as Twitter. Fast forward to 2025, and it seems she’s back to old habits.
Through her page, USAmemorabilia, which is said in the bio to be “the premier platform featuring United States memorabilia,” Melania is once again releasing ornaments. This time, she’s promoting the “Celebrating America” line, which includes six “limited-edition, handcrafted Christmas ornaments” that are “designed to celebrate America and the upcoming 250th anniversary,” per Newsmax.
She announced the news on X earlier this week.
The collection includes ornament-sized versions of Mount Rushmore, the Statue of Liberty, and the Empire State Building; as well as enamel ornaments of an American star, USA, and one that’s titled “Celebrating America.” Prices for the ornaments range from $75 to $90, but each comes with Melania’s signature and the option of an NFT.
Now, this isn’t the first time she’s done this controversial business venture. She’s dabbled in NFTs for literal years, as well as digital collectible ornaments. Her ornament collection first started in 2023 with a holiday release.
While having a business venture outside of the White House is controversial, many find it controversial that she’s profiting off of holiday ventures since she famously talked smack about the White House celebrations in the past. Years ago, a recording was leaked of Melania talking to her former aide and Melania and Me author Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, per CNN. Melania famously was recorded saying, “I’m working … my a** off on the Christmas stuff, that you know, who gives a f*** about the Christmas stuff and decorations? But I need to do it, right?”
