
A man has been rushed to hospital following a massive punch-up involving around 50 people outside a pub in a Leicestershire village The large-scale ruckus reportedly erupted on High Street, Measham, at about 10.35pm on Tuesday (December 23), with police responding to reports of a mass brawl outside the Bird in Hand pub.
Leicestershire Police confirmed that one man was found injured at the scene and was rushed to hospital with injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening.
A spokeswoman for the force revealed today (Wednesday, December 24) that officers, along with colleagues from East Midlands Ambulance Service, attended the incident. A police cordon was swiftly established outside the pub in the aftermath of the melee.
She added that no arrests have been made so far, but investigations into the incident are ongoing, reports Leicestershire Live.
