The January transfer window is fast approaching but for Manchester United, they are on the crest of a wave aftr claiming their third win in a row after beating Brighton 4-2 over the weekend.
United were red hot against the Seagulls at Old Trafford and raced into a 3-0 lead thanks to goals from Matheus Cunha, Casemiro and Bryan Mbeumo. Brighton provided a late scare with two goals before Mbeumo made sure of the three straight wins.
While the immediate focus is on United’s recent upturn in form and next Saturday’s trip to Nottingham Forest, transfer talk is still bubbling in the air with the January transfer window approaching.
Bournemouth star Antoine Semenyo is enjoying a breakout season as he establishes himself as the Cherries’ main man. The forward’s exploits have been instrumental in a brilliant start for Andoni Iraola’s side.
Rumours over an exit will intensify over the coming weeks but it has emerged that United were among the clubs to have an approach rejected in the summer.
