A man has died in a crash in Anglesey. The crash happened shortly after 1.30pm this afternoon, Friday, at Bull Bay, near Amlwch.
A red Nissan Micra travelling from the direction of Amlwch struck a wall. Despite the Wales Air Ambulance service being called to the scene, the male passenger died at the scene, reports North Wales Live. A North Wales Police spokesperson said: “Sadly, a man has died following a road traffic collision on Anglesey earlier today (Friday, October 31).
“Shortly after 1.30pm we were notified by the Welsh Ambulance Service of a one-vehicle road traffic collision on the A5025 at Bull Bay near Amlwch.
“The red coloured Nissan Micra was being driven from the direction of Amlwch and collided with a wall. The emergency services attended, including the air ambulance, however sadly, despite the efforts of everyone involved, including members of the public who assisted, the male passenger from the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. His net of kin have been informed.”
The female driver was transported to Ysbyty Gwynedd by ambulance with what are thought to be minor injuries.
Sergeant Leigh McCann, of the roads crime unit, said: “Our thoughts remain with the man’s family at this difficult time.
“We are urging anybody who may have been travelling along the A5025 through Bull Bay and who may have captured dash cam footage of the collision, including the moment leading up to it, to contact us as soon as possible.”
