A major police search is underway at an industrial estate in Midlothian.
Forensic officers have been pictured scouring business premises Fire Sprinklers Scotland at the Bilston Glen Industrial Estate on Dryden Road in the Loanhead area on Thursday afternoon. Police were called out to the development last week on Friday, February 6, following the execution of a warrant.
Teams have been combing the site for days.
Police, forensic officers and an ambulance crew are currently in attendance. Plain clothed officers and forensics could be seen inside a makeshift tent set up outside the premises.
A CID tarpaulin has also been erected outside the address.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers are at a premises on Dryden Road, Loanhead, following the execution of a warrant on Friday, 6 February, 2026. There is no risk to the wider public and anyone with concerns can approach officers in the area.”
The Scottish Ambulance Service said they were unable to comment.
