A major rescue operation is underway after a mine collapsed in a Spanish village in Cangas del Narcea today (November 21) with one confirmed dead.
The search continues for at least two other miners reportedly still trapped in Vega de Rengos mine following a coal fall, according to officials.
The Emergency Service of the Principality of Asturias (SEPA) said the collapse occurred about 1.5 kilometers from the mine entrance.
