A decline has been observed in major assets in the cryptocurrency market, APA-Economics reports.
The price of Bitcoin decreased by 0.43% over the past 24 hours to USD 89,537.47.
Ethereum, meanwhile, fell by 1.75% over the last day to USD 2,965.62.
Among other major cryptocurrencies, BNB declined by 0.14% to USD 889.93, XRP dropped by 1.68% to USD 1.91, while the price of Solana decreased by 1.16% to USD 128.61.
Relative stability was observed among stablecoins. Tether (USDT) traded at USD 0.9989, while USDC was traded at USD 0.9998.
At the same time, Dogecoin declined by 1.16% over the past 24 hours to USD 0.1254, while Cardano fell by 0.99% to USD 0.3624.
The decline is explained by a strengthening of investors’ risk-averse behavior, profit-taking recorded in the crypto market in recent days, and increased uncertainty in global financial markets.
