MUAR, July 26 (Bernama) — The MADANI Community Service programme serves to strengthen human values and foster the spirit of volunteerism and social service among the community.
Deputy Minister of Communications Teo Nie Ching said the programme places emphasis on efforts to improve community well-being through the active involvement of the people in various community activities and local development.
“Through the MADANI Community Service, which is driven by the Information Department (JaPen), the community not only receives accurate and authentic information, but is also given the opportunity to play a role as an information agent and effectively convey government policies or initiatives or current issues,” she said at the MADANI Community Service programme at Taman Tun Sulaiman Ninam Shah, here today.
