Luke Littler beat Luke Humphries 8-4 to win the New Zealand Darts Masters.
The world champion made it back-to-back successes Down Under as ‘The Nuke’ followed up his Australian Darts Masters triumph last weekend by lifting the title in Auckland on Saturday.
Littler beat the defending champion in the final with an incredible 115 average to brush Humphries aside despite ‘Cool Hand’ averaging 102.31.
‘The Nuke’ raced into a 3-0 lead, and Humphries was never able to claw him back as the teenage sensation made it four consecutive wins against the world No.1.
Littler wasn’t at his best in the first round on Friday as he made hard work of beating New Zealand star Mark Cleaver 6-4.
But Saturday saw him produce his very best, beating Mike De Decker 6-2 in the quarter-final and Gerwyn Price 7-2 in the semi-final, hitting 170 checkouts in both games. Littler clocked up 15 180s on the day, including seven in the final.
