
Traffic has just been released on the M23 northbound following an accident. There is queuing traffic for three miles. Two cars were involved in the crash before Junction 8 M25.
There has been an oil spillage. National Highways says the event is expected to clear and traffic return to normal by 8.45am.
Traffic monitoring site Inrix says: “M23, Surrey, northbound. Updated. Long delays and queueing traffic for three miles due to earlier accident on M23 Northbound before J8 M25. After a 25 minute stoppage, released at 07:40.”
