
A plethora of busy teams in the BKT EuroCup, including the London Lions adding three more players to the squad for the next season

Bouncing back in the BKT EuroCup for the 2025-26 season, the London Lions added three more players to the roster. Following Ovie Soko, 27-year-old Aaryn Rai, 25-year-old Ciaran Sandy, and 19-year-old Matthew Goodwin emerged as the next confirmed squad members. A member of the London outfit over the last two years, Sandy is the only of the three latest signings with previous EuroCup experience, amounting to five appearances in a minor role during the 2023-24 campaign.
After reaching the Eighthfinals in 2023 and the Semifinals in 2024, the team based in the capital of the United Kingdom sat out the 2024-25 installment due to financial issues. Returning to the league marks hopes to make noise with yet another extended run. Additional signings will be announced through the bottom end of the offseason to complete the club picture.
A EuroCup rookie in 26-year-old Stefan Djordjevic is the latest summer transfer confirmed by Slask Wroclaw. The Serbian forward, a youth product of Crvena Zvezda and former player of Igokea m:tel in the Basketball Champions League, followed Kadre Gray and Aleksander Wisniewski as the third addition to the team coached by Ainars Bagatskis.
Turk Telekom re-signed 24-year-old Mete Tekcevik for the next season. In his second year with the Ankara outfit, the Turkish guard entered a long list of players lacking any previous experience in the second-tier club continental competition of Euroleague Basketball.
Also, ratiopharm Ulm penned 17-year-old French forard Meissa Faye to a three-year contract.
