TOLEDO, Ohio — About 84 workers at Libbey Glass in Toledo voted to reject the company’s contract offer on Saturday according to the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers union (IAM).
The vote means workers could go on strike beginning on Friday, August 22, just before midnight.
The union says members are citing unfair pay, mandatory overtime that restricts time with family, and rising health insurance costs as reasons for rejecting the company’s contract offer.
