I read with interest your story about the Trump family’s luxury Maldives resort project, and how it plans to use blockchain technology to attract other investors (Report, November 18).
A quick Google search reveals that the Maldives are severely threatened by climate change.
So if C is for crypto, it’s also for climate change and appropriately enough it’s C for Canute (Cnut), the 11th century English king who, as the story goes, unsuccessfully tried to hold back the incoming tide.
