Widely regarded as one of Mzansi’s finest goalkeepers, Khune built a reputation for changing the way the position is played in South African football.

Khune’s calmness on the ball, sharp distribution and command of the defence set him apart during a long and successful career.
The former Bafana Bafana number one enjoyed a decorated spell at Chiefs, winning several trophies and earning the admiration of supporters across the country.
Beyond the medals, Khune became a role model, admired for his professionalism, consistency and ability to deliver on the biggest stages at club and international level.
Now, the ex-national team captain is giving back by sharing his experience and knowledge with the next generation.
Distribution 101 Goalkeeper Coaching focuses on ball distribution, decision-making and the demands of the modern goalkeeper.
The programme is open to goalkeepers from U12 to U18, giving young talent a valuable chance to learn from one of South African football’s most respected figures.

“Hi guys, Itumeleng Khune here, former Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs captain,” Khune said in a video he shared on social media.
“I’m here to share great news with you that I will be opening Distribution 101 Goalkeeping Academy and you can find us at Avianto Private School Avianto Private School in Mulder Street.
