Kelly Clarkson won’t be saying goodbye to daytime television anytime soon.
Earlier this month, rumors surfaced that the 43-year-old singer and television personality would be wrapping up The Kelly Clarkson Show following its current seventh season. According to multiple sources who spoke to Page Six, Clarkson’s exit from daytime was “definite.”
“[Her show] is a lot to put on, and looking at the landscape across daytime television, it’s not sustainable anymore,” a source reportedly told the outlet.

Last year, NBC was even alleged to be replacing Clarkson with Hoda Kotb, following her departure from the Today show. But Kotb personally cleared up those rumors herself when she spoke to Parade in 2025.
“Oh, Kelly. I love Kelly so much,” Kotb said. “She’s been a great friend, but she’s got her job, and she’s so good at it. Nobody’s touching that Kelly Clarkson Show. Not one person.”
And now, a rep for the talk show is shutting down rumors that the series is coming to an end following the current season.
“Rumor!” the rep told Entertainment Weekly in a statement on Monday (Jan. 26), adding that the program’s producer and distributor NBC “will advise directly if there is a show update.”
They rep continued, “We are not even halfway through season 7!”
The Kelly Clarkson Show premiered season 7 back in September, shortly after the death of her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock.
While kicking off new episodes, Clarkson shared that the new season was going to be all about “finding the light and shining it on people who are really try to making a difference” in their community.
The current season of The Kelly Clarkson Show is expected to run through June 2026.
