The Forces cautioned that anyone found attempting to manipulate the process would face arrest and prosecution.

The Kenya Defence Forces has released the shortlist of successful candidates for the positions of General Service Officer Cadets, Specialist Officers and Tradesmen and Women, marking the next phase of its 2025 recruitment cycle.

In a statement, KDF said the shortlisted candidates are required to report for interviews and selection exercises on the specified dates and venues, as part of the final recruitment and vetting process.

According to the notice dated October 24, candidates shortlisted for GSO Cadet (regular) are to report to the Kenya Military Academy, Lanet, Nakuru, on Monday, December 1, 2025, at 8am.

Those in the GSO Cadet (graduate) category will report to the same venue on Monday, November 24, 2025, while Specialist Officers will attend interviews at Lanet on Monday, December 8, 2025.

Meanwhile, Tradesmen and Women candidates are expected to report to the Ulinzi Sports Complex, Lang’ata, Nairobi, on Monday, November 3, 2025, also at 8am.

“All shortlisted candidates must present their original National Identification Card, academic and professional certificates, Curriculum Vitae, and other relevant testimonials, along with four copies of each,” the statement read in part.

The Defence Forces further assured candidates that food and accommodation will be provided during the interview period.

KDF further said unsuccessful applicants will be reimbursed travel expenses in accordance with KDF regulations.

Candidates have been advised to carry warm clothing.

KDF reiterated that the recruitment process is free, fair and open to all qualified Kenyans, warning against bribery and corruption.

“Engaging in bribery or any form of corruption to influence the process is a criminal offence,” the statement warned.

The Forces cautioned that anyone found attempting to manipulate the process would face arrest and prosecution.

It encouraged the public to report any recruitment-related malpractices to the nearest police station, military camp or through KDF hotlines 0726419706 or 0726419709.

KDF’s recruitment process, which began earlier this month, aims to attract disciplined, competent and patriotic Kenyans ready to serve their country.

The shortlisted candidates who successfully pass the final interviews and medical vetting will proceed for professional military training, a step that marks the beginning of their journey into service with the Kenya Defence Forces.
