Jennifer Griffin Proves Pete Hegseth Correct, and the LA Times Coaches Residents to Break the Law

It was just yesterday when Pete Hegseth laid into the press over their coverage of the Defense Department, and the Iran bombing in particular. In one moment, while taking questions, he laid into a former colleague at Fox News, Jennifer Griffin, stating, “You’ve been about the worst.”

Today, she came out with a follow-up on the mission and wanted to suggest that the enriched uranium that Iran is known to possess had been moved.

Only she does not know for certain. She cites experts to give a location in Iran where the uranium could be located.

However, resorting to language such as “believe,” “suspected,” and “may have” means you are not “reporting,” but speculating.

Gilded Reframe – CNN

The Supreme Court rendered a decision on birthright citizenship, but the larger development was that they basically drew to a close the widespread practice of lower courts rendering restraining orders and other blockages on presidential actions. This has Democrats and many in the press deeply bothered.

CNN sounded rather direct in its disappointment with this headline shared by Brian Stelter.

Anti-Social Media – LOS ANGELES TIMES

As Southern California is still reeling from ICE raids across the region, there is possible relief on the horizon!

Jenny Gold of the Los Angeles Times is here to assist you AWFLs who are employing illegal immigrants as nannies. Ms. Gold is here to help you in how to avoid having your illegal employer snapped up by ICE agents in a convenient video tutorial!

If it sounds amazing that a major newspaper would go so far as to teach readers how to break the law and avoid the authorities, note the LA Times banner logo on her video.

Legalized Press-titution – AXIOS

At Axios, Jason Lalljee saw fit to give airtime to a boycott being called against McDonald’s. The issues with this are plentiful.

The reasons for this week-long event are both widespread and nebulous. The group says it’s boycotting McDonald’s for alleged “price gouging,” the use of supposed tax loopholes, purportedly suppressing workers’ rights and union efforts, and making “false DEI promises.”

Next, the “group” appears to be a less-than-impressive cadre. The People’s Union USA appears to be a lone individual, John Schwarz, who has the ability to send out press releases to garner attention, and little more than that. Axios even details that despite past bluster from this “group”/lone-crank outfit, they have a track record of accomplishing – pretty much nothing at all:

The group has led several widely publicized blackouts this year, but data reflects minimal, if any, impact from their campaigns. Earlier this year, the People’s Union USA spearheaded boycotts against Walmart, Target, and Amazon. There was little evidence to suggest these protests moved the needle — despite the group’s March boycott against Amazon, the company posted better-than-expected earnings results that quarter.

Reporting on the Mirror – CBS NEWS / “60 MINUTES”

As the internal upheaval continues at the executive suites of Paramount-CBS and the network news division, there are vacancies to be filled due to some names balking at the corporate involvement. Now, there is a report that the on-air talent are trying to leverage for their own selection of a new boss.

Weeks ago, the show saw its longtime executive producer walk away (as did the CEO of the news division soon after), and now the help is demanding a new boss. Tanya Simon is the choice by the group of seven on-air correspondents, who have threatened…something, if their request is not met.

As they say in their demand letter: “The next EP has to be Tanya. There will be a revolt if it’s not her.”
