
MANILA, Philippines — Filipino singer-actor James Reid has officially signed with Spring Company, the South Korean talent management and content production agency founded by Hallyu superstar Ji Chang-wook. With this move, Reid makes history as the first Filipino artist to join the Korean firm’s growing roster of Asian talents.

Through this collaboration, Reid is set to explore new creative ventures in film, music and fashion, aiming to reach a global audience.
“Spring Company felt like the right next step because they believe in bridging cultures, and that’s what I want to do too. Working with Ji Chang-wook is inspiring — I’m looking forward to learning and showing the world what Filipino talent can do,” Reid said in a statement.
Spring Company, known for managing top-tier Asian celebrities and working on high-profile projects such as “Squid Game 3” and “Shark: The Beginning,” praised Reid’s addition to its roster as part of its mission to promote diverse Asian artists on the global stage.

Reid, 32, first rose to fame as the Big Winner of “Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash 2010.”
After his stints with Star Magic and Viva Artists Agency, he founded his independent label, Careless Music, in 2017 which served as a platform for his creative pursuits as a singer-songwriter and producer.
