Given the price point, it is not surprising that Jambo opted for an LCD display instead of a more vibrant AMOLED display. However, this choice might affect the overall multimedia experience, as LCD displays often lack deep blacks and vivid colors of AMOLED panels.
Cameras
The JamboPhone’s camera system is not that great, but it is decently serviceable. With a 13MP main camera and an 8MP front camera, you can expect decent photo quality in good lighting conditions for everyday use.
It can also record videos at 1080p in 30fps, though the quality might not be exceptional, especially in low light.
Meanwhile, the JamboPhone 2 boasts an upgraded 16MP main camera, while the front camera remains unchanged from its predecessor. However, it is worth noting that image quality is not solely determined by megapixels but also by the camera sensor’s capabilities.
Performance
Powered by Unisoc’s T606 Octa-Core Processor, the JamboPhone offers sufficient performance for everyday tasks like browsing, streaming, and social media.
Moreover, when it comes to gaming, the phone can handle heavily-intensive games such as PUBG Mobile, Genshin Impact, and their partner, MATR1X FIRE.
As for the JamboPhone 2, it is powered by the Unisoc T616 Octa-Core Processor and likewise can power the phone’s many features, including its display, storage, gaming, and battery.
Battery Charging
The JamboPhone packs a 4,900 mAh battery, lasting around 6-7 hours of screen time under typical usage. While the battery life is average for this price range, it should be sufficient for most users.
The JamboPhone 2, on the other hand, has 5,000 mAh, supports fast charging, and can last around 12 hours of screen time, which is a huge jump from the previous model.
Jambo App

With the recent release of their JamboPhone 2, all for the same price of $99, the latest flagship model is clearly the better choice for those interested, compared to the previous version of what I currently have in hand when making this review.
