Jackie Shroff left fans emotional as he penned a heartfelt poem for his late mother, Rita Shroff. Taking to social media, the Bollywood star shared a grainy black and white picture of his beloved mother as well as shared a video montage as he remembered his best times with his mother.
This was not the first time when Jackie Shroff remembered his mother in such a heartfelt and emotional way. Since her passing, the actor has always been vocal about the loss and shared his pain through social media posts and interviews.
Jackie Shroff’s Emotional Tribute To Rita Shroff
On Friday, September 26, Jackie Shroff penned a heartfelt poem for his mother, who died in 2014 after suffering a stroke. Jackie wrote, “MAA warming you on lonely days, shining through like gold!” as he began the poem which went like –

Grief is an ache, a longing, a longing to be with the one you have lost.
After sharing the poem, Jackie Shroff’s comment section was filled with respect and prayers for his late mother. Jackie’s wife, Ayesha Shroff, took a moment and commented, “MAA”, followed by heart and flower emojis. His daughter Krishna Shroff also reacted to the post.
In another post, the Bollywood star shared a video montage featuring some of his best memories with his mother. The video showcased Jackie’s childhood to young adult pictures with his mother along with her single still photos. Various Bollywood celebrities, including Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Suniel Shetty, Anupam Kher, Sangeeta Bijlani, and casting director Shanoo Sharma, among others, paid their respects in the comment section.

Jackie Shroff was last seen in Anupam Kher-directed Tanvi The Great, where he played the role of Brig. Joshi. The actor is all set to appear in Welcome to the Jungle, the third instalment of the Welcome comedy series. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film is scheduled to release on December 26.
