
The Kansas Children’s Discovery Center hired Queren King-Orozco as communications coordinator. King-Orozco is a visual artist and communications professional with experience in digital and print content creation. As communications coordinator, she manages the museum’s visual storytelling across social media and print.
Endeavor announced the addition of Jared Griffith, CMT, as a portfolio manager, bringing more than 14 years of experience in equity trading, market analysis, and portfolio strategy to the firm. Griffith joins Endeavor after more than a decade as a senior equity trader and market technician with Scout Investments, a subsidiary of Raymond James Investment Management. In that role, he executed trades across domestic and international markets, developed technical analysis-driven insights for portfolio managers, and provided commentary on equities, commodities, currencies, and interest rates. His expertise has supported portfolios representing more than $15 billion in assets under management. A graduate of Texas State University with a bachelor of science degree in finance, Griffith has also earned the Chartered Market Technician designation — recognized globally as a benchmark of excellence in technical market analysis and portfolio risk management. “Jared brings a strong technical skill set and a deep understanding of the markets, but what stands out even more is his thoughtful, multi-faceted approach to investing,” said Chris McGee, managing partner at Endeavor Private Wealth. Griffith treasures his time with his wife, Jessica, and their daughter, Haleigh.
Emily Hernandez has re-joined the staff at i.h.s. salon (Indian Hills Styling Salon) 5642 SW 29th St. in Barrington Village Shopping Center as a stylist & nail technician, where she was employed for two years before moving to Wichita. She is a graduate of Washburn Tech Academy of Cosmetology, where she placed in Skills USA Competition with her makeup skills. She has attended continuing education in foiling, cutting and nail techniques in Omaha, Nebraska. She specializes in foil placement, high & low lighting, special occasion styles, facial waxing, haircutting for men, women and children, pedicuring and Shellac manicures including elaborate detailed nail art. She also has a background in art education from Wichita State University. She recently worked in a full-service salon in Wichita as well as the Newton Presbyterian Manor salon.
