Japanese Muay Thai superstar Nadaka Yoshinari is making a name for himself on the global stage of ONE Championship.
The 24-year-old Eiwa Sports Gym product joined the world’s largest martial arts organization in March and is off to a blistering start. Nadaka has maintained a perfect record in the promotion with three wins, including two by finish.
Speaking to ONE in a recent interview, Nadaka talked about his decision to join the organization.
He said:
“Over the course of my career, I have notched achievements no other non-Thai fighter has ever been capable of, winning titles in three different weight classes. In view of this context and trajectory of my career, I tried to set new goals and ONE Championship really stood out.”
Nadaka added:
“It’s a top-tier organization where the best stand-up fighters and MMA fighters from around the world compete. I feel it’s the perfect stage for me to prove my skills I’ve cultivated so far.”
Nadaka is one of the most explosive Muay Thai fighters in the world today. He is close to becoming a world champion, and just needs to win his next fight to capture the gold.
Nadaka Yoshinari is set to do battle with highly regarded Thai fighter Numsurin Chor Ketwina in a five-round showdown for the inaugural ONE atomweight Muay Thai world title.
The two throw down at ONE 173: Superbon vs. Noiri, which will go down live on Sunday, November 16, from the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan.
