Back in 2020, Showtime made it clear – season 11 was the last one. They gave the team plenty of time to wrap things up, and the finale dropped in April 2021. That’s been the line ever since, with zero official word from Showtime, Paramount+, or the producers about bringing it back.
John Wells, the guy who ran the show, has chatted about it in interviews over the years. He pretty much said the story hit its natural end and dragging it out wouldn’t feel right.
