He explained that with a small lead creative team, the studio back then had to prioritize projects like Grand Theft Auto 4, Red Dead Redemption, and Max Payne 3. As a result, there were no room to create a niche title like Bully 2.While the project is currently shelved, leaked internal documents and former developer interviews have allowed us to get a general idea what a sequel would have looked like. Here is what you could have potentially found in Bully 2: Currently, there is no official release date for Bully 2, and Rockstar Games is now focused on the release of Grand Theft Auto 6 in late 2026. However, there is still a little hope within the fanbase. Fans speculate that the 20th anniversary of the original game in 2026 would be the perfect window for a “Definitive Edition” remaster or a surprise announcement. Furthermore, Rockstar has consistently renewed the Bully trademark, and continues to release themed merchandise.
