The International Blockchain Organisation (Malaysia) was officially launched recently, marking a significant milestone in the nation’s journey towards blockchain innovation, digital inclusion, and Web3 ecosystem development.
In a statement, IBO Malaysia said that as part of a global initiative to foster trust, transparency, and collaboration in blockchain technologies, the organisation aims to position Malaysia as a regional hub for blockchain research, innovation, and responsible adoption.
The launch brought together key players from industry, academia, and the blockchain community to witness Malaysia’s next step in digital transformation.
“Blockchain technology is not just about cryptocurrency – it represents the foundation of a transparent, secure, and decentralised future. IBO Malaysia is committed to creating a collaborative platform that connects innovators, regulators, and enterprises to unlock blockchain’s full potential across industries,” said Rolv Reissiger, chief business development officer of IBO Malaysia.
