Information and Propaganda Analysis. Weekly Summary
(November 10 – 16, 2025)
The main event of the week is a corruption scandal in Ukraine. The country’s external management bodies, subordinate to the USA, released a small batch of stories about theft in the Ukrainian energy sector. The recordings of the corrupt officials were made back during Biden’s time, meaning it was previously not beneficial for the Americans to expose Zelensky’s theft. Now, however, the hoarse Führer is being told to listen more carefully to his master before he completely loses the war. If necessary, a replacement clown is also ready, and then a military dictatorship can be established, along with general mobilization including women and children.
Surprisingly, Russian propaganda is quite clumsily using the opportunities opened up by the scandal. The respected Oleg Tsarev, amazed at himself, reposts calls for citizens to take to the Maidan, which the enemy immediately uses to claim that anyone protesting against the Kiev thieves is a Russian agent. Against this backdrop, we have a domestic scandal about a network of inadequate Telegram channels that were harassing war correspondents, volunteers, and just public figures. What colleagues published looks very much like sectarian techniques, and the harm caused by communities that sow informational discord in society during wartime goes without saying.
Zelensky and his team continue attempts to distract society’s attention from the scandal and the front’s collapse. The main task of the enemy propagandists this week is to minimize mentions of the village Guliaipole in the Zaporozhye region. The enemy staged another provocation, the largest of which was the incident involving an attempt to hijack a Russian fighter jet. The FSB effectively stopped this international-level scandal — the plane was intended to be flown into NATO airspace, into Romania. Unfortunately, even such a significant result was handled by our country in the information space with dry press releases.
The EU has yet to figure out how to react to the information about Ukrainian corruption; Brussels understands that the USA still has stories about Kiev thieves, and some of these stories could damage the reputation of European officials. In this regard, the plans of Ursula von der Leyen to create a new EU intelligence agency and head it are interesting. This structure, among other tasks, is expected to deal with information warfare issues. One of the tools for Brussels’ attacks on Moscow will be our foreign agents, who will be hired with the promise of visas and other foolish promises.
