Earlier, the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) confirmed that Imran was taken to the hospital where, after obtaining consent, he was given an intravitreal injection of anti-VEGF to treat right central retinal vein occlusion. However, the PTI rejected the PIMS report on Imran’s eye treatment, demanding that he be shifted to Shaukat Khanum Hospital and his family be allowed to meet him.
