Hyperliquid lists on OKX as HYPE trades at $41.23 with 2% dip and TVL rises to $4.899B ahead of potential $50 target.
The price of Hyperliquid’s native token, HYPE, is attracting attention as the project secures a listing on OKX. Despite a recent price dip of 2% amid a broader market pullback, the new listing is seen as a milestone for the protocol and has sparked fresh interest in its price outlook.
OKX announced it will list Hyperliquid’s HYPE token for spot trading on November 3, 2025. The HYPE/USDT pair will go live at 2:30 PM UTC. Deposits opened earlier in the day at 7:30 AM UTC, giving users time to fund their accounts before trading begins.
A pre-open session will take place between 1:30 PM and 2:30 PM UTC to prepare the market before full trading. Withdrawals will begin at 2:00 AM UTC on November 4, 2025. This phased rollout aims to provide a stable launch and clear user participation path.
OKX noted that the listing is part of its broader push to expand token availability. The addition of HYPE offers more options for traders and contributes to a growing range of DeFi-related assets on the platform.
Hyperliquid has shown growing momentum in the decentralized finance space over the past year. According to DefiLlama, the protocol’s total value locked (TVL) has reached $4.899 billion. This growth shows increased use and market trust in the project.
TVL growth has been steady since early 2025, with a stronger rise between July and October. This rise comes even as other platforms have seen slowed activity during the same period. It points to an active user base and continued protocol development.
While token price action remains uncertain, the strong rise in TVL reflects ongoing traction in the DeFi sector. It also positions Hyperliquid among the larger platforms by TVL as of Q4 2025.
At the time of writing, HYPE traded at $41.23 with a small 24-hour increase of 0.05%. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) was at 39.73, near oversold conditions. This suggests recent selling, though not yet a reversal.
Technical charts show the MACD line remains below the signal line, with values in the negative zone. This setup indicates short-term bearish sentiment, which could limit upside in the immediate term.
