Kreoh is a Dublin-based artificial intelligence business founded in 2022 by Garry Tiscovschi, Fareed Idris and David McSharry. With 14 staff and €150,000 in funding, the company develops tailored artificial intelligence (AI) tools for firms in tax, pensions and insurance to automate back office reporting.

Its systems use a form of reusable AI Lego blocks to produce first drafts of reports for human experts while verifying data and rejecting errors. The idea grew from Tiscovschi’s earlier experience managing large volumes of manual paperwork in Germany.

Kreoh is expanding in the UK and planning to grow further into North America and Europe while strengthening its AI guardrails to improve reliability and accuracy.

Clubber

Based in Dundrum, Clubber was founded in 2020 by Jimmy Doyle. The business has 10 permanent staff and works with about 70 contractors. It has raised €750,000 in funding to date.

Clubber streams live GAA games that are not usually televised, helping rights-holders generate revenue from lower-tier sports. It also streams the English Trident leagues.

The company began during the pandemic, when Tipperary man Doyle saw how quickly fans embraced streaming technology. His background in people management and product development, gained from roles including time at Microsoft, helped him build the business. Clubber has partnered with Mediahuis to bring more local sports to wider audiences. It has streamed more than 1,500 games and recently added athletics and swimming to its coverage.

Clear IP

Clear IP, a Dublin-based software company, was founded in 2024 by Richard Shattock and Jim Joyce. The business develops technology that helps organisations manage and protect intellectual property more effectively.

Clear IP focuses on simplifying the management of patents and other assets through data-driven tools. Its platform is designed to make complex IP processes more transparent and efficient for businesses and innovators.

Maya Data Privacy

Based in Citywest, Maya Data Privacy was founded in 2022 by Aaloka Anant, Ravish Mani, Natalia Cackowska, Ben Ramhofer and Abhinava Singh.

The business has 18 staff and has raised €627,000 in funding to date. It has developed a tool that anonymises personal data, allowing companies to share it safely with artificial intelligence systems without risking misuse.

The technology accesses data where it resides and transforms it into a privacy-enhanced version suitable for analysis.

Anant developed the idea for Maya while working with SAP, after identifying how data protection issues limited artificial intelligence model accuracy in production.

Maya Data Privacy has been expanding into Germany and the Nordics and to develop its market presence across Europe.

Sunstone Technologies

Sunstone Technologies, a Dublin-based enterprise solutions company, was founded in 2023 by Roger Courtney. The business provides market intelligence software designed to help business-to-business sales organisations identify and qualify opportunities more efficiently.

Sunstone’s technology brings together data from multiple sources to create actionable insights that guide sales and marketing decisions. The company’s tools are aimed at improving competitiveness through clearer, data-driven targeting.

Biota MRV

Biota MRV, a Dublin-based environmental technology company, was founded in 2024 by Oliver Begley.

The business develops monitoring tools that use satellite imagery and artificial intelligence to track biodiversity, assess ecosystem health and support environmental restoration projects.

Biota MRV helps clients collect accurate, verifiable data for sustainability reporting and biodiversity compliance.

The company’s platform integrates satellite data with on-the-ground metrics to deliver measurable insights into natural resource management and conservation performance.

Talio

Talio, a Dublin-based artificial intelligence (AI) company, was founded in 2023 by Oran O’Flynn and Ciaran O’Connor.

The business has developed an AI-powered market research platform designed to help brands in the food and beverage sector to analyse customer sentiment, identify trends and better understand their competitive landscape.

Talio uses machine learning to turn large volumes of unstructured data into clear insights.

Stormlands Mining, a Dublin-based data analytics company, was founded in 2023 by Patrick O’Connell and Róisín O’Connell. The business develops analytical tools designed to make mining operations more efficient and environmentally sustainable.

Stormlands Mining focuses on improving decision-making in the mining sector through real-time data insights. Its platform is intended to help operators track performance, reduce waste and meet sustainability goals.

OYL

OYL (Optimise Your Life) was founded in 2022 by James McCormack, who is currently the company’s sole full-time staff member. The business has raised €500,000 in funding to date and produces a coffee blend made with powdered mushrooms as a health-focused alternative to regular coffee.

The product combines specialty-grade coffee with functional mushrooms, designed to slow caffeine release and provide a smoother energy boost. McCormack developed the concept after giving up alcohol and pursuing a healthier lifestyle while running Dublin Barista School.

OYL continues to grow its range and aims to establish itself firmly in the Irish and UK markets.

Ventry Technologies

Ventry Technologies was founded in 2023 by Peter O’Brien, Des Gleeson and Mark Galvin. The Dublin-based business has three staff and €50,000 has been invested in it to date. It has developed technology that reduces energy consumption in data centres by cooling machines more efficiently at the point where electricity enters the system.

The company installs its hardware directly on data centre racks, allowing cooling to start as power is fed in. The technology was originally developed in Singapore, with Ventry acquiring global licensing rights outside Asia.

Combining backgrounds in film, finance and sustainable fuels, the three founders are using their varied expertise to bring the product to market and are running multiple trials with data centre operators.

Bitemark

Bitemark, based in Dublin, was founded in 2025 by Ronan Traynor as a spinout from Verve Marketing.

The company has nine staff and is led by Jane Gray. It is an advertising agency focused on helping major brands connect with culture and create campaigns that feel authentic and relevant.

Gray and her team draw on Verve’s experience in events and brand experiences to deliver fast, creative advertising solutions.

The idea for Bitemark came from seeing growing demand among Verve’s clients for sharper and more responsive creative work.

Since launching, Bitemark has worked with clients including Google, Moonpig and Kerry Group, producing campaigns in Ireland, the Netherlands and the UK.

Olivia’s Gift

Based in Killiney, Olivia’s Gift was founded in 2025 by Olivia Carpenter. She is the sole full-time staff member and has invested €100,000 in the business. The company creates gift baskets for people undergoing cancer treatment, featuring practical and comforting items such as fleece blanket, neck pillow, water bottle, lip balm and stress ball.

The idea came from Carpenter’s own experiences as both a cancer patient and a carer. She wanted to provide others with the same sense of comfort and support she received during treatment.

Each basket also includes items to support mental wellbeing, such as a journal and puzzle book, designed to bring warmth and care to patients during difficult times.

MoveAhead

MoveAhead, based in Dublin, was founded in 2022 by Johann Issartel and Jamie McGann. The business has 10 staff and has raised €1.75 million in funding to date. It develops technology that turns children’s screen time into opportunities for physical activity and motor skill development, combining fun and education through interactive movement-based experiences.

The concept grew from academic research at DCU, where Issartel, a behavioural neuroscientist, and McGann, a computer vision expert, sought to scale their work beyond the lab. MoveAhead’s platform can be embedded in partner apps or developed independently.

The company has been expanding into the UK and Europe and building partnerships with clients such as the IRFU, Kinder and Decathlon, through funding, introductions and trade missions supported by Enterprise Ireland.

Hexis

Hexis, based in Dublin, was founded in 2022 by David Dunne, Sam Impey and Xiaoxi Yan.

The business has eight staff and has raised €2 million in funding to date. It has developed an intelligent personalised nutrition platform that uses training, biometric and lifestyle data to predictively tailor fuelling and recovery strategies for athletes.

The company works with clients across elite sport, including Arsenal FC, Kerry GAA, the IRFU and several professional cycling teams.

Its technology includes a mobile app for athletes and a web platform for nutritionists to manage clients efficiently.

Hexis has been securing early hires, contracts and partnerships with the help of Enterprise Ireland’s high-potential startup programme.

Sisterly

Sisterly, based in Dublin, was founded in 2020 by Aoife Matthews, Jennifer O’Connell and Louise O’Riordan. The company has two full-time and eight part-time staff and has raised €1.3 million to date. It produces a powdered supplement designed for women over 30, providing essential vitamins and minerals in an easy-to-take daily drink.

The idea came from the founders’ shared frustration at the lack of products tailored to women’s needs. After three years of development, Sisterly launched in 2023 with retail partners including Brown Thomas and Meagher’s Pharmacy, alongside a direct-to-consumer subscription model.

The high-potential startup programme at Enterprise Ireland has provided Sisterly with funding, grants and introductions to contacts in export markets such as the UK.

Digital Gait Labs

Digital Gait Labs, based in Dublin, was founded in 2022 by Aidan Boran, Larry Keaveney, John O’Brien and Seán Kennelly. The company has six staff and has raised €750,000 in funding to date. A spin-out from DCU’s Alpha centre, it develops software that helps clinicians assess gait and fall risk in older people using only a smartphone camera.

The technology uses artificial intelligence and augmented reality to analyse video recordings and generate detailed movement metrics, eliminating the need for hospital visits or wearable devices. It has been clinically validated through partnerships with Tallaght University Hospital and other healthcare groups.

By connecting with contacts across Europe and the US, Digital Gait Labs has been expanding its research and commercial reach.

Recruitroo

Recruitroo, based in Dublin with an additional office in Cork city, was founded in 2022 by Shane Kiernan and Stephen MacCarthy. The company has 12 staff and has raised €1 million in funding to date. It has developed a software platform that simplifies the hiring and management of staff from outside the European Union by combining recruitment and immigration processes.

The platform allows companies to run assessments, interviews and contract offers while also managing the data required for visa processing. The idea grew from MacCarthy’s early work on interview software at UCC and Kiernan’s personal experience navigating visa procedures.

Recruitroo has been identifying target clients in new markets and providing grants for further business development.

URhired.ie

URhired.ie, based in Sandyford, was founded in 2023 by Owen Murray. The business has three staff and recorded revenue of €210,000 in 2024. It provides job preparation training and mentoring for neurodiverse people seeking new roles, helping them with applications, interviews and confidence building.

The company offers both one-to-one mentoring and group workshops, delivered online and in person. Murray drew on 13 years of experience in recruitment to create URhired.ie, with a focus on supporting people with ADHD or who experience anxiety during their job search.

The business has grown rapidly, expanding from individual clients to partnerships with schools and universities. It now serves clients internationally, including in the US, UK and the Netherlands.

Aerlytix

Aerlytix, based in Dublin, was founded in 2020 by Alan Doyle, Eoin Dalton, Leo Perria and Claudio Viotti. The company has 34 staff and has raised €10 million in funding to date. It develops fintech software for the aircraft leasing industry, helping investors, lenders and lessors analyse cash flows across an aircraft’s lifecycle.

The idea came from Doyle’s experience working in investment banking and aircraft leasing, where he saw the need for better technology to manage complex assets. Despite launching during the pandemic, Aerlytix has grown steadily and now serves more than 25 clients worldwide.

With research and development funding and introductions in the airline sector, Aerlytix has been expanding its platform beyond leasing and lending.

Quantmatix

Quantmatix, based in Dublin, was founded in 2021 by Liam Boggan and Paul Chew. The business has 12 staff and has raised €3 million in funding to date. It has developed a data analytics platform that processes global stock exchange data to help investors make better informed market decisions.

The company’s algorithms perform millions of calculations per instrument after markets close, generating detailed trend and persistence scores. Quantmatix has partnered with Blackwell Global on the QM Star Fund, which trades based on its strongest signals, and now sells subscriptions to institutions and family offices.

International introductions and development support have helped Quantmatix continues to expand its global reach.

Little Red Edu

Little Red Edu, founded by Anna Carmody in 2020, is a Dublin-based edtech company developing an augmented reality app to help children aged three to six learn English as a second language.

The company, which has raised €110,000, combines speech recognition and interactive filters to make pronunciation practice engaging for young learners. Carmody created the idea while teaching English in Vietnam, where she saw the need for a more interactive approach.

Little Red Edu has drawn on language experts and artists to develop its animations and learning design. The company operates with one full-time staff member and several contractors.

Novus Diagnostics

Novus Diagnostics, based at Dublin City University, was founded in 2020 by Kellie Adamson, Elaine Spain and Keith O’Neill. The medtech has 16 staff and has raised €13.8 million to date, including a €4.6 million round that closed in December.

It has developed SepTec, a technology designed to detect sepsis in approximately 15 minutes, addressing a condition that currently requires one to five days for standard test results.

Novus Diagnostics has progressed from an academic prototype to a product designed for scalable manufacturing, with guidance on intellectual property, market focus and investor access. The work draws on the founders’ research background and a clear need for faster diagnosis to help clinicians act sooner.

Wrky

Wrky, based in Dublin, was founded in 2022 by Brian Slattery, Barry Gordon and Paddy Doyle. The business has 13 staff and has raised €3 million in funding to date. It has developed software that helps companies improve staff retention and engagement by using behavioural science to turn employee feedback into actionable insights.

The platform gathers information from sources such as Slack and staff surveys to help leaders understand workplace trends, identify issues early and boost productivity.

Slattery, a former behavioural science lecturer at DCU, co-founded the company with Gordon, an engineer, and Doyle, an experienced HR technology professional.

Through introductions, events and international market access, Wrky has been building its presence across the US, UK and European markets.

Kopper Kreation

Kopper Kreation, based in Dublin, was founded by Emmet Bosonnet in 2018.The industrial design business recorded €100,000 in revenue in 2023.

Bosonnet creates tableware, lamps and other homeware using recycled copper pipes and brass fittings sourced from the heating and plumbing industry, with more than three quarters of his materials coming from reused components.

The company’s ethos is rooted in sustainability, inspired by Bosonnet’s engineering background and his desire to reduce the environmental impact of traditional recycling processes.

Kopper Kreation sells its products through retailers such as Kilkenny Design and Blarney Woollen Mills, as well as direct to consumers.

Bosonnet is now focused on growing the brand through new DIY kits and a future workshop space.

Bold Donut

Bold Donut, based in Dublin, was founded in 2022 by Kate Williams and Nathan Cruz Coulson. The business has two staff and has raised €100,000 to date.

Bold Donut creates gamified learning tools that encourage sustainable behaviour, helping organisations meet their climate goals through interactive digital games.

Companies such as KPMG and ESB Networks have used its games to engage staff and customers on issues such as energy efficiency and waste reduction.

Bold Donut has grown steadily since launch, refining its model and securing investment through the pre-seed startup fund.

The company’s approach aims to make sustainability education more accessible and enjoyable, turning climate action into something engaging rather than overwhelming.

Kaavalan

Kaavalan, based in Park West, was founded in 2024 by spouses Vinodh Kumar Balaraman and Upasana Prakash Hemdev. The cybersecurity company has seven staff and has raised €600,000 to date. Its name, meaning “bodyguard” in Tamil, reflects its focus on protecting against online threats through advanced analysis of IP addresses and threat intelligence data.

The company collects and analyses information on IP activity worldwide to help organisations identify and prevent cyberattacks before they occur. Kaavalan has also developed a free tool for detecting rogue SMS messages.

The business has benefited from mentoring, networking opportunities and guidance on accessing essential resources for startups.

The Black Stuff

The Black Stuff, based in Sandyford, was founded in 2021 by John Larkin. The business has 20 staff and expects turnover of €4 million in 2024. It produces handmade natural soaps and deodorants, primarily targeted at men, a demographic often underserved in the personal care market.

Larkin, a former professional poker player-turned-entrepreneur, began making soap at home during the Covid lockdowns after supply chain disruptions halted his manufacturing plans. Experimenting with ingredients, he found that using stout produced a distinctive, high-quality soap, inspiring the brand’s name.

Now shipping worldwide, The Black Stuff has grown rapidly through online sales and select retail partnerships, with plans to expand production and staff in 2025.

Numeracy for Life

Numeracy for Life, based in Dublin, was founded in 2023 by Neil Salvi, Sumita Sengupta and Tadhg Crowley. The business has 15 staff and has raised €790,000 to date. It helps adults rebuild confidence in numeracy by teaching mathematics in a practical, contextual way suited to their daily lives and professions.

The company’s approach focuses on reducing anxiety and improving motivation, particularly for people who struggled with maths at school.

Numeracy for Life has benefited from extensive mentoring and market research resources, which helped it identify key sectors and refine its product.

Its programme has already been trialled successfully with companies and learners in multiple industries.

Glitch

Founded in 2023 by Aisling Browne and Kingsley Kelly, Glitch is a Dublin-based AI company that automates and optimises online advertising campaigns for startups and SMEs.

The business has five full-time staff and has raised €750,000 in pre-seed funding from angel investors and Enterprise Ireland.

Glitch was born out of frustration. Browne, a veteran of the startup world, saw too many companies spending on digital ads without knowing what worked, while Kelly, an engineer who spent five years with Google Ads, saw the same problem from inside the system.

Together they built a tool that uses AI to manage, analyse and adjust advertising campaigns in real time to maximise returns.

Browne says that backing from Enterprise Ireland, alongside guidance from Dublin Local Enterprise Office and Dogpatch Labs, has helped the company sharpen its strategy and connect with early customers in Ireland, the UK, the US and Canada.

Dimply

Dimply, founded in 2020 by Johnny Kane, Colm McLoughlin and Alan Quinlan, is a Dublin-based fintech helping major financial institutions personalise how they engage with customers.

The company has 11 staff and has raised €4.6 million to date. Led by chief executive Jac Dunne, Dimply’s platform lets banks, insurers and wealth firms manage and deploy tailored customer journeys at scale.

Dunne, who previously held senior roles at BNY Mellon and HSBC, said the goal is to bring the same kind of personalisation people expect from Netflix or Spotify to finance.

Dimply has received support in market awareness and introductions, as well as guidance around international expansion, from Enterprise Ireland.

Co-Swipe

Founded in 2024 by Olga Heanue and Vlada Shevchenko, Co-Swipe is a Dublin-based technology startup developing a platform to simplify how businesses manage partnerships. The company has two staff and has raised €100,000 to date.

The platform allows companies to collaborate on marketing campaigns, share leads and track the results of joint efforts, all in one place. Heanue, who previously worked in digital marketing with Adecco and Google, saw the need for a streamlined way for smaller firms to coordinate with partners. Shevchenko, who has a background in marketing and project management, joined after the pair met last year and shared ideas on how to turn the concept into a business.

The Co-Swipe founders, with the help of Enterprise Ireland, have been navigating the startup ecosystem and connecting with resources to speed up development.

Protostars

Founded in 2023 by Kim McKayed and Mohamed Fayez, Protostars is a Co Dublin-based regulatory technology company helping businesses meet fast-changing compliance requirements. The company has 13 staff, has raised €310,000 to date, and operates from Dogpatch Labs.

Using large language model (LLM) technology, Protostars simplifies compliance for company leaders. Instead of replacing existing cybersecurity tools, it adds an extra layer of defence, helping both technical and non-technical teams understand their risks and obligations.

McKayed, whose background combines cybersecurity and social impact, was driven to build a business that protects people in an increasingly complex digital world.

Protostars receives support through Enterprise Ireland’s international network and advice, which McKayed says has been invaluable as the company prepares to scale globally.

TiLT

Founded in 2023 by Conor McNally and Anne Holohan, TiLT is a Dublin-based training company using gamified learning to promote inclusiveness in organisations.

The business has five staff and develops interactive role-play games that place employees in real-world workplace scenarios to help them understand the subtle behaviours that shape inclusion.

The results show a measurable impact, with 90 per cent of participants changing their behaviour within 30 days of taking part.

The company began as research at Trinity College Dublin before spinning out to serve both corporate and public sector clients, including Bank of Ireland, Public Jobs, Flutter and Enterprise Ireland.

Commercialisation and feasibility grants from Enterprise Ireland helped TiLT to develop and scale the platform.

Capella

Founded in 2020 by Criona Turley and Victoria Yanakos, Capella is a Dublin-based company using data-driven insights to help organisations make smarter decisions about their office spaces.

The business has 12 staff and has raised €600,000 to date.

Capella’s platform analyses how workplaces are used, helping companies understand which areas are over or under utilised.

By combining occupancy data with scenario modelling through digital twins, it provides clients with clear guidance on how to optimise their space and resources.

Capella has worked with clients across Ireland, Portugal, Luxembourg and the UK.

Turley said the agency’s network and founder programmes have played a major role in helping the company scale internationally.

Imvizar

Imvizar, based in Dublin, was founded by Michael Guerin in 2021.

The business has 12 staff and has raised €2 million in funding to date. It develops immersive storytelling experiences using augmented reality.

The company has delivered more than 90 augmented reality (AR) experiences in eight countries, working with clients including Salesforce, Grant Thornton and North Carolina State University. Its technology focuses on location-based storytelling for sectors such as tourism, corporate communications and education.

Imvizar is developing a global platform to host interactive AR experiences created by storytellers worldwide.

MARC Property Management

MARC Property Management builds AI software that helps letting agents and multifamily operators automate routine tasks and manage larger portfolios with less effort.

Founded in 2023 by student entrepreneur Aaron Devitt and Sagar Kale, the company focuses on triaging tenant, landlord and contractor communications and organising maintenance and compliance across properties. The platform plugs into e-mail and shared drives to find contracts and certificates, flags key clauses and renewals, and provides instant visibility without manual uploads.

MARC operates from Dublin with clients in Ireland and a growing focus on North America.

MARC Property Management is expanding its product for both European letting agents and US multifamily operators.

Wrksense

Wrksense, founded in 2021 by Andrew Connolly and Ruaidhrí McDonnell, is a recruitment technology company based in Blackrock, Co Dublin. The business has developed a digital platform to simplify hiring, onboarding and staff management for recruitment agencies and SMEs.

Wrksense helps companies manage their talent pipelines more efficiently through automation and data-driven insights.

Its system enables users to match candidates with opportunities faster, streamline communications and reduce administrative workload.

The company’s focus is on improving recruitment processes and providing tools that allow agencies and employers to operate more effectively.

Diviso
