Shinhan Securities Vietnam has gone live with Horizon Trading Solutions’ multi-asset trading and order management platform, enhancing both brokerage and market making capabilities on HOSE.
The deployment brings advanced OMS functionality, algorithmic trading strategies and improved connectivity to support Shinhan’s continued growth in Vietnam’s rapidly evolving capital markets.
The rollout covers both market making and brokerage activities on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE). Shinhan Securities Vietnam selected Horizon to enhance its Warrant market making operations and streamline brokerage trading workflows. Horizon’s solution provides robust market connectivity and seamless integration with Shinhan’s core systems, ensuring real-time access to market data and efficient end-to-end transaction management.
With the platform now in production, Shinhan Securities Vietnam benefits from Horizon’s comprehensive trading environment, including a powerful Order Management System (OMS) designed to optimize order flow and execution across its brokerage desk. The firm also leverages Horizon’s suite of algorithmic trading strategies – TWAP (Time-Weighted Average Price), VWAP (Volume-Weighted Average Price) and POV (Percentage of Volume) – to boost execution quality, increase automation and improve internal efficiency.
On the market making side, Horizon provides advanced tools tailored to Warrant trading on HOSE, supporting accurate quoting, disciplined execution and stringent risk management in Vietnam’s fast-evolving capital markets.

The initial implementation phase focuses on click trading for cash equities and futures, with order flow routed through a dedicated IMS ledger system and execution handled via brokers KISA and BNP Paribas. Building on this foundation, Shinhan plans to introduce additional functionality in future phases, including basket pricing, futures pricing enhancements and advanced automation modules that will deepen trading sophistication and operational scalability as market conditions evolve.
