However, this frequently leads to sky-high energy bills, something countless families are keen to dodge amid the continuing cost of living squeeze.

For anyone wanting to keep snug indoors, there’s one particular item that buyers are raving about for its ability to retain warmth. Sold on Amazon, customers are recommending a roll of Radiator Reflector Insulation Foil, costing £15.99, which can be cut to fit and placed behind radiators to boost heat circulation within a room.
According to Amazon, the Radiator Reflector Insulation Foil “reflects up to 95 per cent of heat back into your room instead of letting it escape through the wall”.
The item is also described as a “smarter way to stay warm and save money this winter”, whilst “lowering energy costs”, as reported by Nottinghamshire Live.
Amazon suggests shoppers use scissors to trim the foil into pieces and secure them using the adhesive pads included.
The retailer states: “This foil for behind radiators fits most standard sizes and installs in minutes. Made with tough 3mm-thick reflective bubble foil, this radiator insulation panel boosts heat retention and is built to last. Fold and reuse season after season for a long-term energy-saving solution.”
Amazon isn’t the only place to find similar insulation foil products. Dunelm has the SuperFOIL RadPack Radiator Reflector Insulation Foil available for £19.
The Range sells Radiator Heat Reflective Foil reduced to £10.99, whilst Screwfix also stocks the Thermawrap Reflective Insulation priced at £18.99.
The Amazon Radiator Reflector Insulation Foil has received plenty of positive feedback from buyers. One customer told fellow shoppers: “I’m really impressed with this radiator reflector foil! It was super easy to cut and install – the included sticky pads made it a quick job. I’ve already noticed a big difference in how warm the room feels, especially with radiators on external walls.”
