Texas Rangers’ star shortstop Corey Seager might not be playing in the postseason this year, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t happy times for the 31-year-old this fall.
Seager’s wife, Madisyn, posted on Instagram the news that the couple welcomed their first baby boy, Camden Miles. Camden was born on Saturday night and weighed eight pounds and eight ounces.

Seager isn’t the only Rangers player to welcome a child recently. Josh Smith and his wife Claire announced the birth of the two’s first child, a baby girl, on Sept. 28.
It has been a popular year for big-time Dallas athletes to welcome children, as Dak Prescott, DeMarvion Overshown, Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin are some of the notable Dallas athletes whose partners have given birth this year.
