HONG KONG – Hong Kong Tennis Open 2026 – the first Asian swing tournament of the year – will be held from Sunday to Jan 11 at Victoria Park, kicking off the 2026 world tour for top male players with a total prize pool of $780,000.
As one of the opening tournaments of the global ATP (Association of Tennis Professionals) season, the tournament will bring together several elite male tennis athletes, including the special administrative region’s Coleman Wong Chak-lam and Chinese mainland player Wu Yibing.
Australian tennis legends Pat Cash and Mark Woodforde will serve as tournament ambassadors.
Fans can also enjoy free access to the qualifying rounds and matches on Show Courts 1 and 2 throughout the upcoming weekend, as well as a live broadcast on the giant screen in the Tournament Village.
The Global Web3 Ecosystem Innovation and Application Summit will take place on Monday at Hong Kong’s digital hub Cyberport.
Themed “Ecosystem Innovation × Practical Application,” the conference will bring together global regulators, representatives from the traditional financial sector, and more than 500 Web3 professionals to discuss blockchain compliance and real-world use cases.

The Alibaba Cloud Tongyi Intelligent Hardware Exhibition, titled “Wonderful Things · Smart Fun”, will begin on Jan 8 at the Sea World Culture and Arts Center in Shenzhen.
The four-day event will showcase over 1,000 intelligent hardware products powered by Alibaba’s large language models, covering categories such as office essentials, lifestyle assistants, and daily applications.
The exhibition has drawn multiple well-known brands, spanning fields such as smart wearables, robotics, home appliances, and artificial intelligence terminals. Exhibitors, such as phone maker Honor Device Co Ltd, electric-vehicle manufacturer XPeng, and humanoid-robot maker Ubtech Robotics, will showcase their popular products.
