Another important move for Hapoel Netanel Holon, alongside additions for fellow Basketball Champions League outfits in FIT/One Wurzburg Baskets and UCAM Murcia

After reuniting with experienced tactician Danny Franco, Hapoel Netanel Holon also announced a deal with team captain Netanel Artzi.
The 28-year-old Israeli forward penned a three-year contract extension, as announced on Wednesday.
“I am more than happy to continue for another three years at the club that has become my home,” said Artzi, referring to spending the last three years with the Israeli club, “I have become very attached to the place and the crowd that I love so much. I want to thank the management for believing in me and making this happen. For my part, I will do everything to make the team successful and the purple crowd happy and proud.”
In addition to a veteran of 23 Basketball Champions League games with Holon, a veteran of 21 appearances with MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg, 23-year-old Lukas Herzog penned a two-year contract with FIT/One Wurzburg Baskets to return to the top-tier club continental competition of FIBA Europe.
“I’ve seen Wurzburg building something really good over the past few years, and I’m really excited to be there next season,” mentioned the German combo guard.
Since leaving Ludwigsburg in 2022, the Stuttgart native played for MLP Academics Heidelberg and Bamberg Baskets in the easyCredit BBL, and joined PS Karlsruhe Lions in the second tier of Germany last season.
With BCL experience from Rio Breogan, amounting to four appearances, Toni Nakic emerged as the first summer signing of UCAM Murcia. Similar to 2022 with the previous side, the 26-year-old Croatian center will be in the Qualification Rounds with the Universitarios. He penned a one-year contract.
