Tell us about your professional experience up to now.
My professional background spans over 20 years as a self-employed residential painting contractor and interior design professional, with extensive experience working throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts. My work has included interior painting projects, kitchen cabinet refinishing, and design services. I’ve worked with first-time homebuyers, homeowners, commercial clients, house flippers, contractors, developers, and Realtors®. I collaborated closely with clients on color selections, interior design concepts, furniture placement, tile and countertop choices, flooring, fixtures, and more. My passion has always been architecture and interior design, with a particular love for Mid-Century Modern homes, especially those in original condition.
Where are you originally from? Where do you live?
I was born and raised in Rhode Island and am proudly of Portuguese descent as a first-generation American. I currently reside in Lincoln with my partner and our three dogs. My partner is originally from Maine, so we frequently travel there to visit family.
What made you want to join Residential Properties?
I wanted to start a new chapter and make a career change, and real estate had always been on the back burner until now. What do you enjoy outside of work?
I enjoy spending time with my partner and our three dogs, cooking, and relaxing with a good movie, show, or series. I love being outdoors by the pool in the summer and by the fire pit in the fall. I stay active by going to the gym regularly. While I’m mostly a homebody, I also enjoy traveling throughout the year and going out for dinner and drinks on occasion. Like most homeowners, there’s always a project at home keeping me busy.
What are you most looking forward to in real estate?
I’m looking forward to building a successful, long-term career, growing my knowledge of the market, and learning from experienced agents and mentors at Residential Properties.
