SEN. Bong Go visited Barangay Baclaran on Saturday to extend support to families affected by a devastating fire, as he sought to give immediate assistance and encouragement to the victims.
Meeting directly with the fire victims, Go expressed his heartfelt concern, saying, “Clothes, you can wash them. Goods, you can buy them. But money can’t buy life. A lost life is a lost life forever.”
During the visit, Go, along with his Malasakit Team, distributed essential aid to 58 affected families.
The assistance included financial support, meals, grocery packs, water containers, and sports equipment, such as basketballs and volleyballs. Select beneficiaries also received bicycles and shoes.
Recognizing the crucial role of local leaders, Go acknowledged Barangay Captain Jun Zaide and other officials for their efforts in emergency response.

In addition to his support for fire victims, Go addressed individual medical needs during the event, providing crutches and helping arrange hospital referrals.
He reminded attendees of the medical aid available through Malasakit Centers, including the one at Ospital ng Parañaque.
