As the 8th Entertainment Editors’ Choice Awards — more popularly known asThe EDDYS — unfolds this July 20, Globe Telecom once again affirms its commitment to championing Filipino storytelling, continuing its longstanding partnership with the Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors (SPEEd).

Globe’s collaboration with SPEEd has also produced memorable initiatives. “One moment that stands out was in 2018, when Globe teamed up with SPEEd to hold free public screenings ofBirdshotandDeadma Walking. This was part of our #PlayItRight campaign, which aimed to combat piracy and protect the rights of Filipino creators. It was a powerful way to promote responsible viewing while spotlighting homegrown films,” Crisanto recalled.
