The John Harbaugh head coaching race is heating up.
And now, it involves the private jet of New York Giants co-owner Steve Tisch.
Flight trackers on social media noticed Wednesday morning that Tisch’s plane flew to Baltimore, landed for a bit, then flew back home.
It certainly seems likely that Harbaugh was on that plane.

It’s safe to say that there aren’t a lot of head coaching candidates getting picked up essentially on their doorstep to be flown to interviews on the owner’s private jet.
It has probably happened before, but it certainly signals the Giants’ interest in Harbaugh, who was let go by the Ravens after 18 years at the helm that included a Super Bowl.
The flight-tracking phenomenon is mostly a college football thing, but clearly the Harbaugh availability has fans particularly tuned in to what he’s up to.
They were onto something, for sure, because both NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and ESPN’s Adam Schefter posted on X at about 10 a.m. ET that Harbaugh is indeed visiting the Giants on Wednesday. It’s his first visit as he looks for his next gig.
The Giants are coming off another tough season, but they have a potential franchise quarterback in Jaxson Dart. They also have talented young players at the offensive skill spots and on the defensive line.
There would be work for Harbaugh to do, for sure, but he’d also have a chance at helping the Giants take flight if he could get his positive influence there soon.
