Traders can now buy or sell multiple curated crypto tokens in a single transaction on Gems Trade.
Gems Trade, a regulated centralized exchange with advanced trading tools, has introduced a new “Baskets” feature on its centralized exchange, allowing users to buy or sell multiple cryptocurrencies in a single transaction.
The feature is designed to simplify diversified exposure across market sectors, including Layer‑1 networks, DeFi, gaming, and memecoins. By consolidating multiple trades into a single execution, Baskets aim to reduce the number of steps needed for managing a multi-token portfolio.
Curated Token Sets and Direct Ownership
The Baskets feature groups multiple tokens, enabling a one‑click execution of bundled assets rather than individual orders, potentially reducing slippage and transaction steps.
Users who purchase a Basket maintain direct ownership of each underlying asset, rather than holding them through a pooled or index-style vehicle.
Each basket is organized by sector or theme, letting users acquire a diversified set of tokens without individual trades. The feature is now live and accessible to all account holders on the Gems Trade centralized exchange.
Gems Trade reports daily spot trading volumes exceeding $1.5 billion, reflecting active liquidity across the platform.
Strategic Expansion
The launch follows the debut of Gems Trade exchange and aligns with its mission to make crypto investing more intuitive and accessible for a broader audience.
As the crypto market grows across sectors and asset classes, managing exposure to multiple tokens has become increasingly complex.
With more than 80 percent of institutional investors using derivatives to manage positions, traders face a demanding workflow that goes beyond simple buying and selling.
Traders must juggle research, operations, and portfolio management across a scattered set of assets, creating a time-consuming, fragmented workflow. This often leads to uneven token performance and makes it difficult to keep positions aligned as market conditions change.
Omri Hanover of Gems Trade said that managing a diversified crypto portfolio requires traders to juggle research, trade timing, and position adjustments. “We heard and understood this pain point, which is why we created Baskets,” he said.
“Our goal is to help traders strengthen their position by providing them with tools that let them focus on strategy rather than on tedious, time-consuming tasks.”
Why This Matters
For crypto traders, Baskets trading make managing diversified portfolios easier by reducing the number of individual trades. The feature could also influence liquidity for the included tokens and improve efficiency for users executing multi-asset strategies on the Gems Trade platform.
