A free day-long class billed “Essential AI Skills for Business” is being offered by DIVERSEcity Skills Training Centre through the downtown Surrey Library on Monday, March 16.
Participants must have a registered business in Surrey or a business licence in Surrey.
“This one-day hands-on course will empower business owners with AI tools to manage their business and become confident in using AI tools,” a bulletin reads.
The City Centre library is at 10350 University Drive. The course is six hours and 30 minutes, starting at 9:30 a.m. You can reserve a spot on the City of Surrey website by March 13.
The event literature indicates participants can expect to learn how to use Artificial Intelligence to “protect customer data, stay compliant and build trust in your brand,” turn data into “insights with AI tools that help you make faster, smarter business decisions,” how to enhance marketing and communication “by using AI to write effective emails, reports and social media content,” and how to “create professional presentations and marketing materials in minutes — no design skills needed.”
Also, participants will learn how to “save time and stay organized by using AI to manage projects, schedules and team
collaboration” and how to automate everyday tasks “like data entry, invoicing and customer follow-ups so you can focus on growing your business. “
